For us at Springboard Humanism, it is worth a mint to have reliable and caring staff on board. We are fortunate to have a team which identifies with our ideology of humanism, nurturing mutual respect, following our motto “take care and care for others”. Our team does not only show diligence in the practical work, but is also a great enrichment to the atmosphere at SBH.

Bagomotsi Kedirwang is responsible for maintenance at our NGO. He looks after the newly established vegetable garden, cares for our chicken and does manual work that needs to be done at and around our facilities. Bagomotsi aspires for a driving licence; he is seriously preparing himself to take his theory test in the near future!
Bonang Ganakgomo aka Mma-Khumo is one of the founding members of Springboard Humanism Organization. She is responsible for the general welfare of our students. Mma- Khumo is highly experienced in house-keeping. Friendly and patient, she guides and supports students to keep healthy and safe living conditions, creating a homely environment.
Every day, Onana Monnane makes sure that our students can learn and live in a clean, proper environment. It is thanks to Onana that our students and staff can sit down at a set table for well balanced and palatable meals. Onana is open minded and ready to learn, she was was happy to pick new culinary “tricks” during her internship at a local lodgelnary her last internship at a local lodge.
Jes Petersen is one of the founding members of Springboard Humanism and he serves as a treasurer in the SBH Board. Being the Operations Manager, a volunteer Maths & Science tutor and our driver, Jes is an all-rounder. As an Education Psychologist, Jes keeps an open door to listen to students whenever need arises.
Emeldah Koweno is the newest member of our Springboard family and she is fully involved in classes as a tutor for the subjects English, Setswana and Moral Education. In the afternoons she helps our permanent students with their assignments and assists with general office duties.
Sibylle Gerz, our German volunteer, teaches basic IT Skills and supports students in academic work and extra-curricula activities. Sibylle has managed to boost the SBH Youth Club and bring it to full swing as a weekly event. With her friendly and warm nature, Sibylle supports our trainee Miss Onneile Soba in running the SBH Tuckshop.
